Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach photography to enthusiastic and creative middle and high school students. Photography is a particular part of our curriculum - they always look forward to it, providing a special place to tell their stories and make meaning of their world.

These new camera accessories will help our young photographers make more beautiful and powerful images.

Over the years, our photography equipment has worn and torn. Cards get lost, corrupted, or damaged. More students need card readers since many laptops don't have camera slots, and being able to keep our cards clean and organized will be such a gift! When students have the equipment they need, the quality of their images increases, as does their experience telling their own powerful visual stories!
