My Project

A senior yearbook serves as a lasting keepsake that captures the memories, milestones, and experiences of a student’s final year of high school. It’s a reminder of friendships, achievements, and all of the special moments that define a formative part of life. For many students, both current and past, yearbooks become a time capsule that can be looked back on, sparking nostalgia and showing how much things change as time passes!

Although cell phones can be great to capture these memories, a camera can make a yearbook student more confident by allowing them to capture high-quality, professional-looking images with ease.

Being able to practice with the different settings on a professional camera will also encourage students to be more creative and expressive in the work. There is something about carrying an actual camera with a camera strap that just help things feel more "legit."

I would love to be able to provide my yearbook staff with a camera and equipment that will help them make their senior yearbook that much more special. This camera will also benefit the senior classes at our school for years to come, creating lasting memories for future generations!
