Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Attendance is a key factor in student learning. One of the lesson learned during the pandemic is that I have to keep my students germ free and safe so that they may continuously attend class without interruptions. When students are sick and out of the classroom they fall behind in their work. By helping them stay healthy students will be able to partake in lessons and strive in their work. My students are resilent and come to school despite feeling under the weather. They have adapted to wearing masks and keeping their hands sanitized. With the aid of Kleenex products in the classroom they will be able to cut down on spreading germs and keep healthy. Hand wipes will keep hands sanitized. Facial tissues will help keep noses dry. Paper towels will aid in keeping the classroom sanitized.

Keeping students in a healthy and safe classroom allows for an increase in attendance rates leading to academic success.
