My Project

Math is my favorite, but it is not for a lot of Junior High students. My students come from many backgrounds, and include many non-English speakers. They do not all have access to the same supplies.

I want to give all of my students more confidence in Math by having access to new calculators and plenty of pencils.

These are the most requested and most used-up tools in my classroom.

When everyone in the classroom has access to nice, new calculators and pencils, they are on a level playing field with each other. It provides a more equitable environment.

Mrs. Belnap will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 20.
