Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have a wide range of unique abilities, but one thing they have in common is that they love to learn, grow, and have fun - whether that is in person or virtually! They fill my life with so much fun and joy, and I can't wait to create a learning environment (at school or at home) that can better serve their needs.

My Project

I am currently teaching my students with significant disabilities both in person as well as virtually. These materials will allow me to safely provide the engaging hands-on activities my students need within the classroom, as well as create learning packets and more hands-on experiences for my students who are remaining virtual, as learning on the computer has been challenging for many of my students!

My students love learning with materials they can touch and feel, as well as engaging in fun craft projects to go along with my social studies curriculum!

Many of my students require items to manipulate, especially while reading and engaging in literacy activities, in order to further their learning. All of these materials will allow me to better serve my students during these unprecedented times, and will help them reach their fullest potential!
