Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have started a new school this year and the current room I'm in was not used as a classroom last year. Therefore, I am creating the vision for this room from scratch. A lot of our school budget goes to providing school supplies for all students, which is amazing, but it does not leave as much money for big ticket items. The school I teach at is 96% free and reduced lunch. I am hoping to raise the funds for stools, a beautiful carpet and some floor cushions so I have the proper seating for my students and each day we feel special to be together in an amazing space.
