This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are requesting footballs and soccer balls that we can use during recess. 120 students are currently sharing 1 football and a few volleyballs. We have a soccer net on our play lot and there are no soccer balls to play with. The students desperately want to play soccer with their friends, practice their skills, and throw perfect spirals the length of the lot. With our current lack of recess equipment, students resort to standing near fences and talking.
With your help, more eighth-grade students can get moving and enjoy time with their classmates!
