My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them. I want them to know that I believe in them and they can do anything.

I teach at a Title I School in NYC where 100% of our children receive free breakfast and lunch.

Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn. They want to learn all they can so they can be successful in life.

My Project

The school supplies requested will help to alleviate some of the cost of buying these items to both teacher and parents. The cost of buying the necessary items for the new school year has increased tremendously and has become a yearly financial sacrifice for me. I would like my students to enter my classroom on the first day of school inspired to learn by what they see around the classroom. The supplies needed in my project will help in the decorating of our classroom and things such as pencils, notebooks, papers will help my students to complete daily assignments in class.
