Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are beyond excited to be a part of the first musical at our school, facilitated by the music, dance, and art teachers!! This process is a holistic, enriching experience for these children that they will remember for a lifetime.

The students will be performing "The Lion King" musical and a part of their experience is to create a set design.

Although our students have the passion and inspiration to create an incredible set design, our school is lacking the funds to support their vision. With your support for canvas rolls paint, palm decorations, and safari themed tablecloths, we can paint a backdrop of an African savanna, design a jungle for the front of the stage, engage the audience with jungle leaves, as well as paint African masks and Kente cloth.
