My Students

My students need more books in the classroom. Literature is stressed so much, and having math literature at their fingertips would be beneficial to them.

My students are all inner city children.

They are in need of more literature in the classroom. They are asked to read every day for at least 30 minutes, so having these math books would make it that much easier. They will also get to know the math terms we are discussing in class by reading the book.

My Project

My students are also having a hard time determining place value with larger numbers. Having these place value blocks will make the lessons more interesting to them. When you are faced with a challenge, the one way to conquer it, is to be able to visualize it! These blocks will make it easier for them!

Donations to my requested items will help my glass with the challenges they face in the classroom.

I cannot help them much outside the classroom, but whatever I can do in my classroom, they will appreciate.
