Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Young children love music but visual and kinesthetic learners can struggle with learning basic concepts through listening alone. We need hands-on visual aids to enhance the musical learning experience at our school.

My students live in a high-poverty urban neighborhood in New Jersey and attend a K-8 public school that has extremely limited funding.

They astound and inspire me each day with their positivity and enthusiasm for learning. Every child at my school deserves a diverse and exciting musical curriculum.

My Project

Everyone learns in different ways and if our school receives these materials, many children will benefit from experiencing musical concepts with visual and kinesthetic elements. This additional support will help students with rhythm and intonation as well as ensemble playing.

This project is important because it will allow many children to enjoy success and broaden their musical perspectives.

These materials will have a great impact on the lives of hundreds of students who deserve to have the richest musical experience possible.
