Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach a wonderful group of inquisitive students in my Critical Thinking class who would love to attend the FIU Engineering Expo.

My class is comprised of 7th and 8th graders who love to learn.

They enjoy coming up with creative solutions and implementing them. I have found that my students particularly love engineering challenges that involve solving problems by designing and building products.

My Project

Florida International University hosts a wonderful Engineering Expo in which students get to explore the engineering campus. My students need a bus to attend the FIU Engineering Expo. On this trip, our students would get to learn about many exciting technologies that we do not have in our classroom. This field experience would certainly inspire our students to come up with many interesting ideas.

With your donation, our students will be able to visit the Florida International University Engineering Expo and learn about many exciting technologies of the future.
