Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My students live in a very technology driven world and I would like to give them the opportunity to communicate through video.
My students love to learn!
They are a very motivated group of kids who cooperate, share and inspire others. They are true leaders among their peers. Our middle school is one of two that consolidates into a larger city high school. The kids come with a variety of backgrounds and mixed experiences.
My Project
Bullying has become an issue within our school, just like it has in many others. I would like two flip cameras for my students so that they can conduct interviews and create skits showing their peers appropriate ways to help themselves and their friends who are bullied in school, on the bus, and in their neighborhoods.
Bullying is nothing new, but equipping our children to rise above and not become followers and bystanders has become essential to the continued issues that they face.
The opportunity to be role models for others also gives them the much needed confidence to come to another child's defense! Wont you please partner with us to help kids stand up to an defeat bullies?
