Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from low income areas. They are currently learning from home. This has been very hard since we had no idea when we left our classroom on March 13, that we would not be returning. Most of them do not have the materials or tools at home needed to make distance learning effective. We are doing the best we can but of course, we could use some help.

My Project

Distance learning has been tough, especially for my students who do not have the needed materials at home.

We left our classroom on March 13 thinking we would be returning, which of course, we did not.

My students left all their tools in their desks where they were sitting.

Being able to get some essential items for my students to use during this time would mean so much to me, to them and to their parents. We are all struggling right now, during this pandemic. Any help would be huge!
