Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hola! Ni-hao! Yiassou! Ciao! I teach ELL (English Language Learner) students from 15 different countries of various English language levels. At our school, we believe everyone can achieve the American Dream. My students are very eager to learn and I want to do everything I can to help them meet their potential. Our school is a Title I school with many students not having internet access or living at the poverty level.

Students need to have access to the latest in technology.

Having the most up-to-date MacBook in the classroom will inspire students to be creative and encourage learning.

A new MacBook can open the creative minds of students and continue to nurture their love of STEM.

Students will use the MacBook during small group instruction. It will be beneficial for our new unit on podcasting. My goal is to encourage all students to record their personal podcasts because they will be motivated to use the latest technology available in the classroom.

With this addition to our classroom, we can have a mini Mac lab for our English Language Learners.
