Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My scholars start their day by choosing one out of the six languages that we have learned to say "good morning". My scholars and I believe that there's always room for more diverse learning.

Understanding and visualizing what you read is...Priceless!

My special needs scholars are working extremely hard to develop these skills. My students reading levels range from below-level to approaching grade level. However, I must say that my scholars are striving on working not only to increase their lexile levels but to improve their overall reading comprehension, too. Although, my school is at a high poverty geographic area with most of my parents unable to provide any extra resources at home to further develop their child's education. My students take pride in using all available materials to be college ready. With that said, all our educators and providers promote high standards as the norm in our school community.

My Project

Obtaining these awesome resources would be a blessing for each and every student in the classroom. The creative interactive Reading Comprehension Skill Games will be used to support specific reading skills and creative thinking. The Reading Comprehension Set will be used as a morning routine to provide scaffolding lessons. The division/multiplication interactive math games will be used to further provide teamwork, cooperation, and thinking among my students but especially foster self-control. All requested materials will assist me in maintaining a well-managed classroom in which students are consistently engaged in productive learning.

The donated resources will be make a great difference in further developing my students reading comprehension and their math skills as well.

The donation will allow my students to continue to receive supported materials to further their education.This project is very important to all of us, as all donated materials will be used to further cultivate our everyday learning in this testing grade classroom.
