My Students

Pandemic problems? Not in my virtual first grade!!! This year I have the honor of teaching 24 amazing students virtually.

They amaze every day with their love of learning, resiliency, creativity, and effort.

I was so worried that I would not be able to create a strong classroom community but boy was I wrong!! Their shouts of "You're the best teacher EVER!" and having to force them out of our meeting at the end of the day because they don't to leave makesy heart want to explode! My students are incredibly special and make me so proud!

My Project

My virtual first grade students are working so hard but need help staying organized. With writing journals my students will have developmentally appropriate paper to write and illustrate their stories. The two pocket folders will give them a place to keep their writing organizers and rough drafts so that they can find everything they need when it is time for writing.

My students have already overcome so many obstacles that virtual learning has thrown in their path.

Providing these supplies for them will give help in taking control of their learning.
