Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is not just a school I work in, it is also my son's elementary school and what makes me get up in the morning! I love the thought of 32 bright faces smiling at me and eager to learn the lessons of the day! Regardless of weather conditions they battle their way to school, knowing that they would have a safe, warm, and loving environment waiting for them.

My fourth graders are from culturally diverse families and are eager to learn about the world around them.

Please help us empower these students!

My Project

Please help my students get colored pencils and a sharpener! Many of my students cannot afford the materials they need for school. They come in and sharpen their pencils in the morning and before they go home because they do not have a sharpener at home.

This sharpener will help them have the tools they need every day!

A sharpener is not only useful but the kids also feel like it is a treat to sharpen their pencils. Sometimes it’s all about the simple things in life! Please help us add color to our day with amazing colored pencils and a sharpener to go with it!
