This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a third-grade teacher in a high-needs, low-income, Title I school. Our students are primarily English Language Learners. Our school is made up of 70% ELL and 100% of them receive a free lunch and breakfast.
I would like to provide my third graders with chair pockets to help keep their supplies organized.
Every day my students will walk into the classroom eager to learn and ready to face any challenge that's put in front of them. It truly amazes me how determined and dedicated these young minds of theirs are. My students are such a huge blessing and they deserve the world. Next school year I will no longer be having desks with cubbies. Without the cubbies, it leaves us with needing chair pockets to keep individual supplies organized. Staying organized is crucial for third graders as it promotes time management skills, responsibility, learning efficiency, independence, and stress reduction, and cultivates lifelong skills.
Please help me make this upcoming school year a great year for them, as they most definitely deserve it. The chair pockets will help keep their individual items nice and organized.
