This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our elementary school basketball team is a proud part of District 9, competing against other schools in exciting and challenging matches. Our elementary team has been wearing the same uniforms for the past three years, and they’ve served us well, but it’s time for a much-needed upgrade. We are looking to provide our dedicated players with new, updated uniforms that will help them feel confident and represent our school with pride. The current uniforms are worn out, faded, and no longer fit many of our students properly. New uniforms will not only give our team a fresh and professional look but also instill a sense of pride, unity, and confidence in every student.

Uniforms are more than just clothing—they’re a symbol of teamwork and belonging.

When our students step onto the court, matching uniforms help them feel like they’re part of something bigger than themselves. It fosters a sense of equality, where every child feels included and valued. Additionally, a unified appearance boosts morale and motivates our kids to perform their best while representing our school.

Your generous support will allow us to purchase durable, comfortable, and appropriately sized uniforms for our team. With your help, we can empower our young athletes to not only look great but feel great, ensuring they have the confidence to succeed both on and off the field.
