Help me give my students a chemistry lab. Our chemistry lab has a severe lack of basic equipment. We need enough for 8 lab groups operating simultaneously to do necessary experiments.

My Project

This list includes equipment necessary to equip our chemistry lab. We will have additional projects for other equipment, but these are general items we need for most labs. For example, the only balances we currently have are food scales accurate to the gram. An example lab requiring this equipment is on determing stoichiometric ratios of ionic compounds.

While our science program is not exactly new, our chemistry lab lacks basic equipment to run typical experiments.

The bulk of these items have long term use, so this is a one time capital cost. Currently, we are limited to simulated experiments and theories. We lack the basic capability to run hands on experiments.
