Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My two classes, a total of 45 students, are from Brownsville, Brooklyn, the poorest district in all of NYC. I would like to ensure that my students have books that they can enjoy at home and use in our classroom.

The books I have chosen by a panel of my students who read a few pages from different books and chose the ones I have included in my project.

Help us to be stronger readers and to have books to take home and to use in our class. Any donation you can make will help us reach our goal and we will be very appreciative.
