My Project

Please help us provide life-saving EKG monitors for our schools!

We are reaching out to our community to help us provide vital health monitoring tools for our students, teachers, and athletic trainers.

Our goal is to purchase Kardiamobile 6-lead EKG monitors for seven schools in the Western Heights district and athletic trainers to enhance the safety and well-being of our students/teachers.

Why is this important?

Cardiac events can happen without warning, and timely detection can make a life-saving difference. Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is a leading cause of death among young athletes, and early detection is critical. The KardiaMobile 6-lead EKG monitor is a portable, easy-to-use device that can help identify abnormal heart rhythms and other conditions, allowing for quick action and proper medical intervention. With these monitors, our athletic trainers and school medical staff can help prevent potential emergencies and provide better care to our students and teachers, particularly those involved in sports or physical activities.

Our Goal:

Total Need: We aim to purchase one KardiaMobile 6-lead EKG Monitor for each of the seven schools and two for the athletic trainers. This will give us the ability to detect potential heart conditions early—an essential step in preventing sudden cardiac events and saving lives.
