This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

How can we provide all students with equal opportunities to learn if we do not possess the materials to do so?

Our ICT classroom has a large variety of learners with many different academic needs.

As our classroom has embodied a number of newcomers in the last two weeks (with and without IEPs), it has increased our level of academic diversity amongst our classroom population. We have students ranging from above, meeting, and below grade level. Since our students’ abilities are scattered immensely, with a number of outliers, we are required to differentiate student work in all areas persistently.

Due to our detailed differentiated student activities, we need to print many master copies for several groups! Ink cartages for the printer will allow us to print master copies for differentiated student activities in every subject on a daily basis. Although the school provided each classroom with ink, we have run out and are in need of more in order to support our learners. Donors, like yourself, allow for inner city students to have the opportunity to learn to their best abilities. Thank you for your support and consideration.

My Project

I am a special education elementary school teacher in a 1st grade ICT classroom. I teach all subject areas to my students, with and without learning disabilities. I am in charge of differentiating and modifying student activities in order to assist their individual learning needs.

As a teachers, we need to buy many supplies in order to teach our lessons effectively; in our case specifically, it's ink!

In order to meet the needs of each student, we need to differentiate all of our instruction in every lesson of the day. This includes center work, independent tasks, group tasks, homework, and guided reading instruction. Printing several copies a day becomes costly because of the amount of ink that is used throughout the year.

For this proposal, I ask for 5 combination packs of ink for an HPENVEY5530 printer. This will supply my class with ink for the rest of the academic year. Your donation will make it possible for my students to get the differentiated instruction that they need in order to progress. With this donation, students will be able to receive their tailored instruction provided to them daily throughout each period. These materials will make a great difference in the academic lives of the students in my classroom. Thank you.
