My Project

The weeks are flying by and the second semester is here, and we will be knee-deep in our design units. When I asked students what they wanted to create, they came up with many ideas. When I explained how we would do it, they narrowed the list down and the items we are requesting will help us with our making. They really are excited to see their new mission patch designs as stickers, and the sticker paper and laminate sheets will be used for that. We use our Cricut a lot and having new blades keeps our cuts clean and crisp, and finally we will be using our toaster ovens to make some tumblers, the thermometer will help us make sure that our temps are correct.

Our students are creative and thoughtful innovators who are always wanting to learn something new.

This project will allow us to provide the materials that will let them create and make something they will be able to show others with pride. Providing needed supplies removes the exclusion of students who can't afford to bring in their own. Projects will follow for some t-shirts and other items that the vinyl will be applied. We will be using our sublimation printer and all of the tools and materials that we have to engage in our creating and learning.
