My Students

Help us be heard! My student choir has dreams of performing in and around our community but are unable to because of our outdated equipment.

My students are middle school age and they attend an inner city Tennessee school.

This school is small in comparison to the rest of our county. A majority of our students are economically disadvantaged. These choir students are amazingly talented and they LOVE to sing. Many of these students come from low-income families and have almost no formal music training outside of school. Our choir is a group of developing singers that would benefit from additional performance opportunities.

My Project

This equipment will make a HUGE difference in our choir program. It will give us the opportunity to perform both in our school building and around the community. Currently, we are working with outdated equipment and this will allow our choir to grow and to experience musical opportunities outside of our school.

This equipment will be used in a number of ways that all directly affect the growth and development of middle school students. It will give our music students multiple performance opportunities. In addition, it will improve the school's standing with the community.
