Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This proposal is directed at trying to outfit our ever growing tenor and bass sections look via a matching “dress shirt and tie combination.” Our choir program has shown nothing but growth and resilience since the beginning of the pandemic. We’ve put on numerous concerts, competed and won numerous competitions virtually and in person, started a new singing group “aChoired Harmony”, and produced an EP that is out on all streaming services.

If funded we will be able to capitalize on the latest performance opportunities that our most recent successes have provided for us, as well as, create a look that will promote our program in a positive professional direction.
