Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of my students are diagnosed with speech and language impairment or other learning disabilities. Many are also English language learners. My students are motivated and enthusiastic to learn! Many of them struggle with sequencing skills and expressive language skills such as formulating complete sentences, and using correct grammar such as pronouns and verb tense. They also struggle with formulating and retelling stories using transition words such as “first, next, last”.

Your donation would enable me to purchase these sequencing picture cards that depict every-day, routine activities.

These resources will make the sequencing and language tasks more relatable and functional for my students. These sequencing cards will enable my students to practice language skills such as vocabulary, sequencing, sentence formulation, pronouns, and narrative retell skills.
