My Project

Each year, on Halloween, our class has a GLOW Day where we turn off the lights, put on the black lights, and learn in the neon glow. It is a fun and exciting day of learning about bioluminescence and phosphorescence.

Adding glowing items to our lessons adds engagement and excitement to the standards we are learning!

To conduct these lessons fully, we need several supplies replaced each year. The neon paper, markers, and oil pastels make creating the glow day lessons exciting and purposeful. The black tablecloths keep the room pitch black and the balloons are used for math fact review. So much excitement happens on this day and I can't wait to bring it to the class next year!
