My Students

My students are mathletes in training and we need the tools to help us become better mathletes. One great tool that will help us achieve this is the graphing calculator.

My students are 8th graders who are either in my General 8th grade math course or my Algebra course.

My students attend a middle school who really pride themselves on incorporating a lot of technology within the classroom. My students are exploring how technology can be great tools to help them master various math concepts.

My Project

The materials I am requesting will allow students the opportunity to graph a function hands-on with a calculator and see what happens when various things are modified to that particular function. Having these materials will also allow my students to get the necessary practice that they need in order to help them be successful in High School.

This project will allow students to learn how to utilize a graphing calculator and how important this tool can be in helping them master various math concepts.
