Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school opted to trade in individual student desks for large round tables a few years ago. Sadly, these tables do not have any storage for students books or supplies! This year my students put all of their supplies in plastic bins, stored under their tables. These create a lot of distractions and possible safety hazards (lots of tripping and misplacing our things). Some classrooms have students store their books in cubbies along the walls, which can cause constant movement and traffic jams every time students move from one subject to another.
