This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students for their dedication, enthusiasm, and resilience. Each day, they bring a passion for music that inspires everyone around them. Our current project aims to replace our retired tenor saxophone, which is crucial for keeping our band’s performances and practice sessions vibrant and engaging.

The new tenor saxophone will make a significant difference in their learning by providing them with a reliable and high-quality instrument.

This will allow them to practice more effectively, perform confidently, and continue developing their musical skills without interruption. The resource will help bridge the gap left by the old saxophone, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to fully participate in our band’s activities.

My goal for this project is to equip our students with the tools they need to excel in their music education and maintain their excitement for playing. The tenor saxophone is a key part of our ensemble, and having a new one will help our band continue to grow and thrive.

What makes my students special is their incredible dedication and love for music. Despite challenges, they approach each rehearsal and performance with enthusiasm and a desire to improve. This new tenor saxophone will support their continued growth and success, helping them reach their full potential as young musicians.
