My Project

We are a neighborhood and immersion school. We have a Native language immersion program. All of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. We are located near a joint military base with many students coming from military families. Our school is culturally diverse with many different languages spoken and as many cultures represented. With our geographic location and high cost of living, we face many challenges others don't.

Well we knew that it would eventually happen and so it has our beloved Aquaponics tanks have at last broken and can no longer be repaired.

What we need is to be able to replace the cracked tanks with two new Back 2 Roots, aquaponics tanks. We need various size and horsepower internal filters to replace the ones no longer providing enough power. Finally we need Cat Grass to start our growing cycle, since this will grow well in our climate regardless of temperature.

We love our fish and our aquaponics tanks, Living where we do learning about sustainable living is vital to our future food supply possibilities. Who knows maybe todays science will create tomorrows future farmers, or more.
