My Project

At our school the arts are a top priority. Every Friday all students participate in a program called Spotlight Artist. This donors choose will help the entire 2nd grade have a successful year running this program. Each month we focus on a specific artist and learn and emulate the style of their art in our own way! Some artists we have focused on in previous years are: Andy Warhol, Fernando Botero, Tyree Guyton, Yayoi Kusama, and many many more!

Having a variety of art tools will help us be able to plan more engaging, colorful, and exciting art projects for our 2nd grade students!

We are asking for donations to help us have a variety of tools like different types of paintbrushes, tissue paper circles, card stock, canvases, and modeling clay for our Artist Spotlight program this year. Having these tools will make our 2nd grade a more colorful year!
