Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school has deep history of gardening. Going back to students growing Victory Gardens during the World War. I want to bring that chance back to our school! I started the schools first Garden and Nature club not knowing how the school would respond. WOW! I have been amazed. The students are so focused and excited to learn! We have plans to expand the club next. We also want to include a indoor and outdoor garden. We need your help to achieve our goals! The money would go to equipment we can use for a long time. We need grow lights to support the growth of our baby seedlings. We are also asking for garden beds we can keep out on the playground to plant in. My students are motivated and creative students. Being able to support their vision would be everything.
