This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students since COVID-19 have become more interested in being able to have a sustainable food source and plant science in general. Our students are passionate about learning and experiencing industry relevant practices. We will be learning how to use hydroponic systems to feed our community through providing fresh produce we grow in these systems. Our students are excited to learn how to use sustainable, self- contained systems to help our community while building customer service, business and leadership skills that will develop them into the leaders our world needs in the future.
