My Students

NYC just got rid of Teacher's Choice, which was the money they gave to teachers to buy the essentials for the school year, and now they expect teachers to pay for everything out of pocket!

My students are mostly from projects and their families do not have enough money for the essentials.

With your help, we can have everything we need for the start of the school year! Please help my student's get off to a great 2011-2012 school year!

My Project

I am asking for things to get the school year started! The backing paper will help our classroom look inviting to parents as they drop their children off for the start of an amazing year! The pencils and other manipulative's will help the children with their math skills, as well as everyday life skills! I am also asking for name tags for their desks, so we know who everyone is as the year starts. Everything I am asking for, I would have bought with the money the city provides the teacher's, but that is no longer an option, as I stated earlier. Thanks again!

The city, nor my students, do not have a lot to begin with!
