My Students

The students in my classroom are on the autism spectrum; the grades range from transitional kindergarten, kindergarten, first and second grade. Most of the students are verbal however, some of the students have limited to no verbal communication. It's amazing to see how far the students develop throughout the year when they are in my classroom. My job is so rewarding working with students who are on the autism spectrum.

Each student in the class is special in their own way and brings a smile to my face every day.

My students are creative, smart, fun and unique. The students are visual learners and benefit from learning through technology. They enjoy learning through educational videos, music, educational games, social skills, and building language.

My Project

These items will help the students meet their sensory needs and regulate their bodies. In addition, students will be able to create colorful art projects during visual art learning. The reading comprehension activities will assist the students visually and creating hands-on learning activity.

These items will help my students self regulate their bodies while learning throughout the school day.

All these items will help my students succeed in the classroom. My students may have a different way of learning and that makes them special and unique. These students deserve to have the same school experience as their peers.
