My Students

My second-grade class has 32 students in it. My students are eager to learn, enjoy school, and are motivated to succeed. They love to use their imagination and grow as learners. We are a large school with over 1,000 students. We are a Title I school and all of the students in my school receive free breakfast and lunch.

Many of the students in my school are English as a second language learners.

We have many different languages spoken in my school. My students come to school with big smiles and are ready to learn and achieve great things!

My Project

My class is in need of read aloud books to supplement our new reading curriculum. Many of the books that are part of our new curriculum are only available electronically. It is so important to have books in our hand and be able to turn the pages and touch the book. We would love to have some of the books that go with this new literacy program to use in our classroom.

We love to learn and can not wait to read new books and practice our reading skills on a shared book that we an all enjoy.
