My Project

Teaching Physical Education in a public middle school is not an easy task! I teach grades 6-12 in a building that has 6 different schools inside. We have two gyms, two yoga rooms a weight room that services all the Physical Education needs for all the schools. It is often hard to find activities in all these spaces for the various grades. Having this equipment will help us be better prepared in all the spaces as well as outdoor parks should we take students there for PE. Soccer is a sport all our students have come to love, this year with many migrant students soccer is even more popular than ever! Our students in grades 6-12 have a love for soccer that this equipment will allow us to have units for maximum student participation. Double dutch jump ropes are a widely used activity for students all over the world. Having double dutch ropes will allow students to work together on activities they love and feel comfortable with. When we are in other spaces in our building when we don't have access to the gym, having table tennis equipment to go with our tables will allow students to learn a new fun sport! We love exposing our students to a variety of activities and feel this equipment will help us be more successful!
