Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I am requesting will help get my class off to a great start in the new school year. Many of the supplies will be used to help decorate the classroom and create a positive and healthy learning environment. The velcro dots will allow me to label all classroom materials, student desks and cubbies. The laminating paper will be used to secure name tags and classroom decorations. The borders will assist in creating vibrant bulletin board displays.

Regulating emotions are an important part of daily learning.

The timer and squeeze balls will help students when they are in need of a break. It will give them something to focus on and assist them when they need a few minutes to self regulate. The calendar pocket chart and pocket organizer will help students keep track of our daily schedule and activities.

All of the items will assist greatly in starting the new school year on the right foot.
