Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hardworking, determined, enthusiastic, and ready to learn. They enter the school building every day with smiles on their faces and positive attitudes despite coming from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. All of my students are English language learners. Some of my students are learning English as a second or third language. Despite these challenges, my students impress me every day. They enjoy learning as much as I enjoy teaching them. My students work hard and make me proud to be their teacher.

My Project

Our community has been tremendously impacted by COVID-19. Students are eager to return to school and continue their learning. These students are going to need various school supplies to get them through the year whether it is in the classroom or through remote learning. I would like to give my students the most important supplies to start the school year. I would also like the students to have individual pencil cases filled with supplies that they can take to and from school. This is important to keep the children's supplies and materials safe and organized. Please help me make this school year amazing and safe for all my deserving students
