Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work with 18, wonderful and inquisitive pre-kindergarten students in a very diverse school in Brooklyn, New York. We have children from many different cultures in our class and children with many special abilities.

My pre-k students love to learn new things daily!

For many of these children, it is their first year in school. They are learning about themselves, others, school rules, routines, and many new concepts in various subjects! They have many opportunities to explore what kind of learners they are and learn concepts in many different ways!

My Project

Students deserve a safe learning environment. During covid, my unvaccinated students still need masks, social distance, increased outdoor learning, and separate safety supplies.

Please help my students get the items they need to have a safe learning experience in our classroom!

We need safety vests for outdoor learning, extra masks in case theirs break or they lose them, separate standing and seating marks to social distance, band aids in multiple skin colors and sizes, labels to individualize items, cleaning supplies so I can take care of immediate cleaning issues, etc. These items will be help us all stay safe while learning!
