My Project

It is nearing the end of a school year and our first graders have learned so much and have worked so hard. Their supplies are proof of that! We've gained several new students this year and we are running low on several supplies, especially headphones. We focus on our small group time in order to guarantee that our students receive the exact targeted instruction that they need. During small group time, other scholars are required to use their computers. With several of our students speaking Spanish as their first language, it is very helpful for them to have headphones to block out all distractions and to make sure that they can hear their computer instruction in their home language. Without headphones during small group time, the room becomes incredibly noisy and it is very difficult for students to focus on their work. With these headphones, all students will be able to block out the outside noise AND receive instruction in the language that best helps them.
