Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am so grateful for my class this year. I have a bunch of students who are excited about learning and attending school. Many come with a variety of learning challenges such as attention and focus issues and anxiety. They have a hard time sitting on the carpet and in a chair for more than 15 minutes. They need constant reminders throughout the day.

I am requesting for a variety of weighted animals for students who have a difficult time focusing and for those whose can't control their body movements.

They are constantly moving and fidgeting on the carpet and at their desks during independent classwork. These weighted animals are ideal for providing a gentle, soothing pressure that helps kids feel grounded and relaxed during daily math and writing activities. These materials will help keep students focused and ready to learn in class.
