Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in a 6:1:1 bilingual Special education classroom. All my students learn at different levels. The reason that we would need an electronic whole puncher is because each student has their own personalized binder. These binders focus on the students IEP goals, which means to focus on their individual needs on what they are learning. Every student learns differently every student focuses on different goals. I have six students with multiple disabilities, for example, I have students with down syndrome, autism, emotionally, disturbed, and cerebral palsy . My students work very hard every day using their binders to focus on learning what each one of them needs to focus on. Sometimes it becomes difficult using the one hole puncher. Having this electric one would help us fill up their binders so they could continue learning and reaching their goals. This would be a great contribution for our classroom to expand their strengths and excitement with learning. Thank you for your constant support.
