My Project

Last year was my first year as a Special-Education Teacher. I saw how many of my students lacked the resources to improve both their social learning and literacy. As a result, I have been seeking out ways to bolster my classroom in an effort to help my students in both areas. The printer will help to provide colorful visual for differentiation for English Language Learners and students with disabilities. The Social Emotional Learning tools will help my students to be able to discuss topics with each other to build teamwork and positive classroom relationships. The emotions chart will help both the verbal and non-verbal students as they can use the chart to communicate their feelings.

My goal for this project is to improve my students literacy skill and build positive relationships in the classroom.

My students are very eager learners who are in need of the tools to make their learning experience more fulfilling.
