Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As part of our new Project Based Learning 3rd grade class, we will be working on many hands on projects over the course of the school year in our brand new classroom.

When inheriting a new classroom, there are many things needed to make it a home.

Some things we are asking for are a OKIOCAM document camera and a large teaching dry rolling erase board for our visual learners, poster boards for projects, a laminator to display student works, wobble stools for our students who need to move a bit during learning.

To clarify, one of our 1st projects will be on the country(Peru). We will be making posters and brochures on Peru based on digital research and giving presentations to other students and parents. This ties into our Social Studies curriculum so it is understandable why we would need tools such as the ones listed above.

We will also create, an infographic of Peru's special places to visit, country flag and map and a digital and physical campaign and or poster/brochure to spread the word and persuade others about the horrible treatment of animals.
