My Project

In our classroom of 7 students, we focus on students learning in the best ways for them through multi-sensory strategies and opportunities. This includes flexible seating, differentiated activities, and social-emotional learning embedded within our school day. Consequently, there are some resources that we believe would take our learning even further!

By including a classroom rug, we will have a comfortable meeting area where students can actively participate in their learning each day.

When students are comfortable in their classroom, they are truly engaged in the lessons and activities. They are also likely to take risks and try new things, since they feel safe and ready to learn.

By including different sensory items, such as stress balls and texture mats, we can provide students with the correct tools they need. These items can be used throughout the day to benefit student learning. Introducing a classroom rug in our meeting area, and access to different sensory tools, would benefit each student within our classroom!
