Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In today's fast-paced world, students often face challenges that hinder their focus and motivation. To combat this, I am looking to introduce flexible seating options and mindfulness tools into our classroom. These resources will not only enhance their learning experience but also help them develop critical life skills such as self regulation and emotional awareness. I am reaching out to seek your support in creating a classroom that promotes comfort, creativity, and mindfulness.

By incorporating stackable stool flexible seating, such as wobble stools and bean bags, students will have the freedom to choose their preferred seating arrangement.

This empowers them to take ownership of their learning.

In addition to flexible seating, I aim to integrate mindfulness tools like calming sensory items and guided meditation tools. These tools will provide students with strategies to manage stress, improve focus, and cultivate a sense of calm.
